We have a life beyond this one, where fear and hate will not exist, we need to keep our mind on that and not on the physical things that we all need.

(30) For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you have need of these things.
(31) But rather seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.
