But that begs the question. Why are they calling them all “Palestinian civilians”? Do they mean it as an insult to Israel? Like saying they don’t really exist? While historically it was the area of Palestine, it has been divided into two separate countries!

This is what infuriates me about our new media? They only talk of the “Palestinian civilians”! Not of the 40 Israeli babies, or young children who were be headed by Hamas! Not of the fact that over 260 Israeli civilians who were slaughtered while at a festival!

Not the Hamas insurgents who are taking the uniforms of IDF and Israeli police to get Israeli citizens to open their door so they can murder them in their home!

They won’t say that Israel has been sending texts and leaflets letting Palestinians civilians go towards the Egyptian border, but Hamas is telling to stay in place? They won’t admit to the fact that Hamas builds its hq I’m schools, hospitals, and heavily populated areas! And that they will use the civilians as human shields and then post videos of them being killed and claim it was unprovoked!

Since our media is an extension of the left they will say whatever the left is saying!

I think Palestinian civilians includes all civilians in that region - whether in Gaza or Israel. And yes, it is a terrible shame when the media covers for the side they support in wartime. We're already seeing that happen and this war has just started.

Jameson, let me apologize for hijacking your biblical article and turning it more political!

Ann Mcconell why would you unsubscribe from his commentary? He has pointed out scripture only?

You are correct there is

OT scripture about both! This is, as far as my study goes the continued battle of of Issac and Ishmael! Did not God say that Ishmael would be “a wild man” and be against every man? Yet for still blessed Hagar and Ishmael because of his Promise to Abraham!

Beyond this, Jameson has pointed OT scripture pertaining to horrible governments! Is that not what we would call Iran with Hamas and Hesbolah?

The OT also speaks of “those who she’s innocent blood” in Proverbs 6 as 7 things that God hates! Does this not apply to what is being done?

Israel has its problems as well, but since being given its land it has, it has been attacked constantly, part of what Jameson pointed out rather astutely! But this does not mean that Israel is the end all be all!

Many ascribe Israel as being “God’s chosen people”, and that this land was promised to them! But God said that promise was fulfilled in the Times of Joshua (Jos. 21:43-45). And can we not read through the prophets and read of the evil that Israel did? And read of the captivity that God brought them for

It?

But yes you are correct the OT talks of both sides!

I am unsubscribing from your commentary. We can find OT scripture to support both sides.

That's fine, but I wasn't taking any side. I was merely pointing out that a lot of civilians die in wartime, and when we feel helpless about the tragic loss of human life we can take comfort in knowing that God sees what's happening and He will see to it that justice is carried out.
