I like how you laid out this presentation about the Church. As you stated, the Church is facing the same problems as the early Church, for there is nothing new under the sun just new packaging.
We have so distorted the word “church” that it no longer means what it was intended. Satan used the Roman Catholic Church to distort it. It now means the institutional church to most, and we look to it for inspiration. Sadly, the synagogue of Satan mostly stands in the way of the personal spiritual brokenness that leads to salvation.
The Church is the “ecclesia” not the businesses we see today. A great piece Jameson, but if you had replaced “church” with “believers”, you would have nailed it. I know this will ruffle feathers, but my role is not to make us feel good about ourselves, but to get serious about living from the indwelling Christ.

By church I mean the people - the Christians.
