What would someone learn about the Lord and His church if they came to worship where you worship?
What would they learn about Christ and His followers?
Would they find a group of people who love each other with a deep, sacrificial love (1 Corinthians 13) - or would they find a group who would rather not see each other because of some petty dispute, and so they merely tolerate each other?
Would they discover that Jesus is the focal point of your life and worship (Philippians 1:21; Colossians 3:16-17) - or would they find a group of people who treat Jesus as an afterthought?
Would they find a people who loved the Word of God (Psalm 119:97-104) - or would they find a people who loved their own opinions and traditions more?
Would they discover a group of people who demonstrated real love and concern for visitors like them - or would they find a group of people annoyed because the visitors sat in their seat?
What if a non-Christian came to worship? What would they find?
Would they find the people of God trying to live like Jesus - or would they find people who pretend to be God’s people and live just like everyone else?
