It didn’t take long for hypocrisy to rear its head among the Christians in Jerusalem. And you know what happened after that sin was dealt with? The church continued to grow.
Also, the apostles are beaten for preaching the gospel, but continued to proclaim Jesus in public and private.
This “movement” was being shown to be “of God” and not “of men.”
