I Realized How Quickly You're Growing Up
I'm going to miss these days.
To my kids:
I realized today that we are about to move into a new phase.
Both the boys are already in school, while Ava Drew stays with me for a few days during the week and with a lady from church for a few days.
Summer break is almost here, and all of you will be home with Mom for the Summer.
And then, when school starts back - all of you will be in school. The days of bringing kids with me every day to the office in the morning will be over.
That hit me hard when I realized that.
Suddenly, you’ve all grown up enough to be in school every day. I look forward to this new stage we will soon be moving into, but I will always have fond memories of the times you “went to work” with me.
