How Can We Know the Way to God?
There is only one way.
Have you ever thought about how to get to Heaven - the place where God is?
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).
Jesus is the Way.
The way to the Father in Heaven is exclusive – there is no other way to get to Heaven but through Jesus Christ. The narrow or difficult path leads to life, while the broad road leads to destruction. (Matthew 7:13-14). If we want to get to Heaven, it will be by taking the only way, Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the Truth.
The truth about getting to the Father in Heaven is exclusive – there is no other truth about how to get to Heaven but what Jesus Christ and the Word of God teach.
The Word of Christ and the Word of God are the truth (John 17:17).
Since God is in Heaven and is all-knowing (Psalm 147:5), He knows the truth about Heaven and how to get there.
Jesus is the Life.
Eternal life with the Father in Heaven is exclusive – there is no other way to have life but through Jesus Christ.
In speaking about Jesus, Peter said, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Salvation is only offered in Jesus Christ.
Nothing will be better than living with God in Heaven for all eternity.
May we strive to continue to obey the Lord so that we can spend eternity with Him.
